Lippo Invests Rp 400b to Build Mall, Hospital in Kupang

Indonesian business conglomerate Lippo Group has invested Rp 400 billion ($46 milion) on constructions projects in Kupang, including the construction of a super mall and hospital.

The group’s president director,  Theo L Sambuaga, signed an official agreement on the construction projects on Friday, witnessed by group owner James Riady.

The Jakarta Globe is affiliated with Lippo Group.

East Nusa Tenggara Governor Frans Lebu Raya said that he suspected the people of East Nusa Tenggara would fully support the works.

“This is only the beginning. Other investments will soon follow,” he said .
